FOI Enquiries at QHR!
In the month of January 2005, during this Quest to
place Queensland Hospital Radio Inc on air, I was Officially
Informed that Some People, through using F.O.I - Freedom Of Information
- have made requests to obtain Access to Personal Matters about
Myself and Queensland Hospital Radio ... They Will find That I "Come With Clean Hands."
Doesn't Life Become Interesting Sometimes! Flora
Episode 2 ... The FOI Plot Thickens!
In the month of February, 2005, I politely wrote
requesting the courtesy be paid to me, of disclosing the name or
names of those Enigmatic Bogies who are so actively seeking
Personal Information about Myself and Queensland Hospital
Radio Inc... ( I had
given my permission to disclose information on hand - after saying
to Myself .."Self, would it make Any difference if I
refuse?") The reply
came back saying "We have sought permission from the Applicant
to release to you his or her names. That Request
Has Been Denied." Does this not convey that Any Person
can, through using Freedom Of Information Venue, seek and be passed
personal details of myself and other citizens with ease ----------
Then, simply and successfully have their refusal to divulge
their own names Honoured! Doesn't Life Become Increasingly More Interesting,
Sometimes! Flora.
Meanwhile ... Back At the Studio ...
In the Merry Months Of March And April, am Happy To
Report that one more Obstacle Of Importance which stood in the way
of getting Queensland Hospital Radio Inc., on air, has now
been Overcome!

Busy.Busy.Busy. These Three Months
Ahead. All will be Revealed Later. And about that
F.O.I. (Freedom Of Information Fiasco) - and those who are
Deliberately Delving into my Most Personal Matters -- It would be
nice to think that some small semblance of shame may be felt when
perceiving the sad and harrowing past and present private graphics
of the Life into which they have pried.( A note to my Worthy
Opponents -Day by Day, in
every respect, I am getting Better - Not Bitter!)

These Months have seen energetic work in seeking out used
furniture and transporting it to our Premises; Cleaning of
Cobwebs, Upstairs & Downstairs, and Preparing of various
sections e.g. Office, Reception Area etcs. Am Happy to tell you
that All Spiders and I are now on First-Name Basis! Especially
since I promised They can have their Own Radio Program
..."SPIDER - HOODS!" See
"SERIALS" In The Studio Schedule For
Invitation.

BAD NEWS DEPARTMENT: Vandals have smashed
through lower outside
window. Also have painted unsightly graffiti on outside
walls.

BAD NEWS DPT. Part 2 ... Further window smashing
occurring. Also more graffiti garbage
splattered over previous rubbish. BUT, FINALLY, I Was Able To Get
The Termites Ousted From The Floorboards and Walls. Flora.
Final Months Of 2005 ... And the above is
continuing. To All Those Who Insist on Stabbing The
Lizard, I say only this ... "It is Not very wise to
keep provoking This particular Little Lizard - It is better
to let her lie peacefully in the sun and mind Her Own Radio
Business." ( EXAMPLE: I learned how to use equipment
to Paint Out Graffiti, and do this As Soon As It appears! EXAMPLE:
My Opponents Fight Rough And Dirty ... I Just Fight
Rough!). And, at this 2005 year's end, it is with deep
sadness that I close saying I have received letters advising that
None of my Applications to Government Departments and Others in Australia
for Community Grants have been successful .... Such
monies would have been instrumental in assisting with purchase
of a 400 Watt Transmitter ...

(At this time every year, am employed by Queensland
State Library as Public Lending Rights officer - the
salary helps to pay for Queensland Hospital Radio's Licence and
other fees ... Will talk to you again in what I hope will be a
Wonderful Future For All).

***Currently All Requests &
Applications for Fundings & a 400 Watt
Transmitter - Without Unfavourable Conditions Attached - have been Totally
Unsuccessful.
***After
Successfully Preparing Above Premises & All Further Requests
For Funding Denied - The Lessors Of Premises Advised The
Following: "It is
my understanding that your Association's activities are not
currently operational. If that is the case, please make
arrangements To Vacate The Lanham Park Premises By Saturday, 31st
March 2007." QHR Has Left The Building.
The Valuable Donations Of
Furniture; Tapes; Records; Equipment Etcs, Were Stored In A Local
Warehouse Which, On September 2007, Was Destroyed By Fire. HELP IS NEEDED.
