1. WHAT IS THIS NEW RADIO STATION coming to The 1611AM
Band?
QUEENSLAND HOSPITAL RADIO INC. will be of benefit to
listeners of ALL ages who are looking for information of all kinds
to help with their daily living, PLUS a little light relief to
brighten your day!
2. WHAT WILL IT DO?
It will endeavour to keep people, wherever they may be
listening,in daily touch with what is happening in their own And
other parts of our world.
It will bring attention to Vital Information which
could assist in making personal decisions about issues like Health,
Education, Leisure, Caring for Others etc.
Add encouragement to broaden interests in what is
going on at home and in our outside world.
And provide pleasant varieties of Entertainment... And
Humour will not be Forgotten, either!
3. HOW WILL THESE AMBITIONS BE REALISED?
By working on Two distinct but Important Levels:
(a) Exceptional programming which does NOT duplicate
other existing Radio Stations. The Main function being the
Dissemination of Vital Types of Information via Professionals in
the Medical Fields, Welfare Areas and others, AND from Listeners
willing to be interviewed about their own personal experiences in
Life's various avenues.
(b) Free exposure of the Aims and Ambitions of the
many varied worthy Organisations both in Australia And Abroad, that
exist to be of service to people.
(c) Encouragement to play an active part in all of
these Aims via accepting invitations to be interviewed - pre-taped
if desired - or attend on-air conversations in the Studio.
